Can I see the complete Zapruder film?
Research-quality copies of all 486 individual frames of the Zapruder film can be viewed or downloaded from assassinationresearch.com/zfilm.
When viewed, the Zapruder film can be difficult to interpret because it is so ‘jittery’. To avoid this problem, I have created a number of stabilized video clips of the film. They have been stored here in QuickTime format. (If you don’t have QuickTime, you can download a free viewer from the Apple website.)
The clips are large in size (between 8 MB and 69 MB) because they are intended to be research-quality. The first six are in 1920 ´ 1080 high-definition widescreen (16:9) format; the last is in 1440 ´ 1080 high-definition standard (4:3) format. If your screen does not have this many pixels, go to Movie / Half Size (Ctrl-0 in Windows) in QuickTime before playing it.
In the first six video clips, the background has been stabilized. In other words, these six clips are the equivalent of having six different cameras mounted on the Zapruder pedestal, each pointing in a fixed direction, i.e., they don’t ‘pan’ to follow the presidential limousine. (I recommend that you save each clip to your hard disk, rather than viewing it ‘online’. To do so, right-click on any link below and choose ‘Save Target As…’.)

In the final video clip, the view ‘pans’ so that the presidential limousine is stabilized in the center of the image:

In 2002 I used advanced mathematical and computer imaging techniques to stitch together a sequence of photographs of Dealey Plaza taken by legendary JFK researcher Jack White from the Zapruder pedestal, using the topographic survey commissioned by the House Select Committee on Assassinations in the late 1970s. I then overlaid three extant photographs taken by the Dallas Police Department in the days following the assassination, and finally overlaid the frames of the Zapruder film itself:
